“Engaging with our local community in order to build relationships and offer God’s love”

The church is active in the life of the village both in participating in village events and arranging a diverse range of activities within the church building. We also have a lovely garden in which you are welcome to sit and quietly enjoy the space or explore our beautifully crafted interactive Noah’s Art wooden wall sculptures.

We open our doors to host a number of events during the annual village summer festival. This year we held both a meditation evening, when all were welcome to come and quietly reflect, and played host to a concert performance from the Wharfedale Chamber Orchestra. We also enter the festival Scarecrow Trail competition in conjunction with Little School Nursery, who use our hall and rooms each weekday morning during school term time.

Youth activities include Cyber Café and Shine Gospel Choir. Cyber café is open each Thursday during term time to pupils in school years 5 and 6 (3.30 – 5.00pm) and years 7 upwards (7.30 – 9.00pm).  Whilst Shine meet on alternate Sundays from 6pm (http://www.shineyouthgospelchoir.org)

Each year we work closely with the local schools and village youth organisations to put on seasonal events such as Flower Festivals and Advent window displays.  This year we celebrate our 200th Anniversary. We aim to do this with a wide variety of different events which will appeal to all ages. Please see News section for further details.

Our Fellowship area is open for coffee, cakes and a chat each Tuesday morning from 10.00 – 12.00, feel free to drop in.  We play host to other activities and groups such as Bridge Clubs and Dance Clubs – please see the calendar for further details.

We have a range of different sized rooms which can be booked for meetings, parties or events.  Please see the room hire section for further details or to make an enquiry.

Our photo gallery will give you a taste of some of our past events from Open Gardens to our Tour de France (Yorkshire) barbeque, from Christmas Trees Festivals to quiz nights.

All are welcome.
